    • ACCELERATOR PEDAL – INSPECT – [Check for damage, high effort, or binding. Replace if needed.] ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT – INSPECT – [Inspect every 30000 miles or 24 months, whichever comes first. Replace the drive belts if found damaged.] AIR CLEANER ELEMENT – INSPECT AUTOMATIC SHIFTLOCK AND PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH – INSPECT BRAKE SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Visually inspect brake lines and hoses for proper hook-up, binding, leaks, cracks, chafing, etc. Inspect disc brake pads for wear and rotors for surface condition. Inspect other brake parts, including calipers, parking brake, etc.] ENGINE COOLANT – INSPECT – [Inspect fluid level and add fluid as needed.] ENGINE OIL & FILTER – INSPECT – [Check engine oil level and oil life percentage. Change engine oil and filter, if needed.] EXHAUST SYSTEM & HEAT SHIELDS – INSPECT FUEL SYSTEM – INSPECT GAS STRUT – INSPECT – [Visually inspect gas strut for signs of wear, cracks, or other damage. Check the hold open ability of the strut.] IGNITION TRANSAXLE LOCK – INSPECT LEAKAGE – INSPECT – [A fluid loss in any vehicle system could indicate a problem. Have the system inspected and repaired and the fluid level checked. Add fluid if needed.] PARKING BRAKE – INSPECT RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENTS – INSPECT – [Make sure the safety belt reminder light and all the belts, buckles, latch plates, retractors, and anchorages are working properly. Look for any other loose or damaged safety belt system parts. Have any torn or frayed safety belts replaced. Also look for any opened or broken airbag coverings, and have them repaired or replaced. The airbag system does not need regular maintenance.] STARTER SAFETY SWITCH – INSPECT SUNROOF RAILS – INSPECT – [Inspect sunroof track and seal, if equipped.] SUSPENSION & STEERING COMPONENTS – INSPECT – [Visually inspect front and rear suspension and steering system for damaged, loose, or missing parts, signs of wear or lack of lubrication. Inspect power steering lines and hoses for proper hook-up, binding, leaks, cracks, chafing, etc.] WINDOW WASHER FLUID LEVEL – INSPECT – [Inspect fluid level and add fluid as needed.] WIPER BLADES – INSPECT – [Visually inspect wiper blades for wear or cracking. Replace blade inserts that appear worn or damaged or that streak or miss areas of the windshield.] BODY COMPONENTS – LUBRICATE – [Lubricate all key lock cylinders, hood latch assembly, secondary latch, pivots, spring anchor, release pawl, rear compartment hinges, outer tailgate handle pivot points, latch bolt, fuel door hinge, and folding seat hardware. More frequent lubrication may be required when exposed to a corrosive environment. Applying silicone grease on weatherstrips with a clean cloth will make them last longer, seal better, and not stick or squeak.] OIL LIFE MONITOR – RESET – [Reset the system whenever the engine oil is changed so that the system can calculate the next engine oil change. To reset the system: Press the MENU button to show Remaining Oil Life on the display. This display shows an estimate of the oil's remaining useful life. If 99% is displayed, that means that 99% of the current oil life remains. To reset the engine oil life system, press the SET/CLR button while the oil life display is active. After a few seconds, there will be a single chime and the oil life will be reset to 100%. Be careful not to reset the oil life display accidentally at any time other than after the oil is changed. It cannot be reset accurately. If the engine oil % CHANGE message in the DIC comes back on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.] TIRES – ROTATE – [Tires should be rotated every 7500 miles. Check tire pressure, damage and tread depth. Verify spare tire key lock operation and lubricate as needed.]
